Review draft: Maintenance request guidance
1. Select the pencil beside Maintenance requests.
2. Enter an Immediate assistance message with the appropriate property-maintenance contact, such as an approved vendor, board contact, or handyman.
3. Describe Supported in-unit request types so residents understand the responsibilities the community accepts.
4. Save with the checkmark or cancel with X.
Depending on community responsibilities, examples may include windows, doors, exterior areas, balconies, or roofs. Joe noted in-unit responsibilities are common in condominiums but not exclusive to them.
A property-maintenance contact is not a replacement for emergency services. For an actual fire, medical, or police emergency in the United States, call 911. Do not reuse the demonstration contact information as a real service contact.
Review needed: where and when this guidance appears to residents. The Settings fields were captured, but the resident request workflow was not demonstrated.
